A nontraditional path into programming

I specialize in building web apps using the MERN stack, but I have used various CMS platforms like WordPress and Ligtspeed to build useful frontend and backend experiences. I've been a web technology enthusiast since the days of Google+, and the inception of smartphones.

My deep desire to provide service to others initially led me to teaching, then human services, working closely with people navigating homelessness situations. Eventually I found that my greatest fulfillment comes from building things and problem solving.

I remain committed to the idea that we are at our best when we are in service to each other. I hope that we can work together to create technology based solutions for growth in business and in our condition as human beings.
